Website and security

Namecheap provides hosting. Technical data such as IP address, access time, requested page and browser information is processed in server logs to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Inquiries and email

The form sends company, email address, shipping volume, system and message to our business mailbox at Namecheap Private Email. Incoming messages are also forwarded to our Gmail mailbox at Google, with a copy retained in the business mailbox. We use this information to handle your inquiry and prepare a quote (Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Processing by providers outside the EU, particularly in the United States, is possible.

Form protection and retention

Using the form sets a necessary session cookie for security. To limit abusive requests, the server stores a hash of the IP address and timestamps for up to 24 hours; older entries are deleted on the next inquiry. Form content is processed by email, not stored in a website database. Correspondence is retained only as needed for handling, evidence and statutory retention.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may complain to a data protection authority. Contact info@az-paketmarken.de to exercise your rights.

No advertising trackers

We use no analytics or advertising trackers, externally loaded fonts or marketing cookies. Your language is selected through the page address.

Customer area and orders

We send a one-time sign-in code by email. It expires after ten minutes and attempts are limited. Contact and billing details, inquiries, orders, messages and assigned documents are stored with Namecheap hosting. Documents are restricted to the relevant customer and administrators. Necessary session cookies protect sign-in; sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, (f) for security and (c) for statutory retention. Expired codes are removed on the next request; security counters are retained for no more than 24 hours. Contract and invoice data follow statutory retention periods; other account data can be deleted on request unless retention is required.
